Features IMPA Seminários

The Research Seminar intends to give the opportunity to Masters students to get in touch with the research activity in Mathematics, searching and reading the literature on an accessible topic.
In it, each student must prepare an exposition on a topic approved by the researchers responsible for the Seminar, write an expository article on the same and follow the expositions of the other students enrolled.
Degrees will be awarded, as in regular graduate courses, according to the students achievement.
